Stichting Bar Potential – Hubble & Meteor
(16-40 hours a week)
Are you interested in doing a board year next year?
Stichting Bar Potential is looking for motivated and enthusiastic students to form the new board of Hubble & Meteor, a student bar that is open to everyone.
Bar Potential is a foundation run by students, focused on inclusivity, community, and fun. Hubble and Meteor have a long tradition of actively supporting student associations through discounts, bonuses, and collaborations, helping strengthen the wider student community.
Board structure & roles:
We work with portfolios, meaning the roles are not fixed. You can shape your board year around what you enjoy and where your strengths lie. Tasks can be combined, and responsibilities can shift within the team.
At the moment, we are especially looking for people interested in (but not limited to):
Secretary – internal communication, planning, administration
Vice Chair – supporting the chair, preparing to take over after 6 months, overseeing progress and coordination
Bar Management – bartenders, SVH, planning & operations
Treasurer (Meteor) – finances, budgeting, and financial oversight
Chief of Technology – technical systems, digital tools, and innovation
Community Manager – community building, events, collaborations, and atmosphere

Who are we looking for?:
– You are a student, recently graduated or taking a gap year
– You are 20+ Years old
– You’re enthusiastic, responsible, and enjoy working in a team
– You’re interested in student life, hospitality, community, or organization
– Board experience is a plus, but not required

– Initial Contact
Start by contacting us. Upon request, we will provide a template for a motivation letter.
– Motivation Letter Review
After submitting your motivation letter, we will review it. If approved, you will be invited for an interview.
– Interview
During the interview, we will discuss your interests, skills, and how you see yourself contributing to the board.
– Decision
Following the interview, we will contact you with our decision.
